Our Goals:

  • Build a strong base of recovery advocates on the West Coast
  • Put a face & voice on recovery, demonstrating that long-term recovery from addiction is possible!
  • Eliminate the stigma and discrimination associated with addiction and recovery
  • Raise awareness of the needs of people in recovery and their families
  • Eliminate discriminatory policies impacting the recovery community
  • Support the development of new Recovery Community Organizations led by the recovery community
  • Provide new training opportunities for peer recovery support service providers
  • Educate policy makers about the barriers to recovery and about the hope that recovery brings

 

 

What We Need:

  • Financial resources to hire a team of recovery leaders and project managers to organize public awareness events and conduct training on the West Coast
